Youth Swimmer Beginner Class (Ages 6-12)

This class is designed for young swimmers who are comfortable in the water but are not yet able to swim the length of the pool. Swimmers will focus on building water confidence, improving basic technique, and increasing muscle endurance. Through fun, engaging activities, participants will work on putting their faces in the water, swimming short distances from the steps or wall to the instructor and back. As we progress, we will focus on developing proper strokes, breath control, and building the strength needed to swim across the pool with confidence. This class offers a safe, supportive environment where swimmers will grow their skills while preparing to take the next step in their swimming journey.

Preschool Beginner Swim Lesson (Ages 3-5)

This preschool beginner swim lesson is designed for children ages 3-5 who are comfortable in the water but are not yet able to swim independently. In a fun and supportive environment, we focus on building water confidence, developing basic swimming skills, and strengthening muscles. Through engaging activities and gentle guidance, children will learn essential techniques to help them move through the water more effectively and safely. Our goal is to foster a love for swimming while providing a foundation for success in future swim lessons. By the end of the session, your child will feel more confident in the water and ready to take the next step in their swimming journey.

Join our fun, flexible summer swim team! The Jr Swim Team is open to swimmers who can confidently swim one length of the pool unassisted and want to build their skills in a supportive team setting.

This program runs from May through July and is part of the Southeast Georgia Recreation and Parks Association Summer League. Swimmers can attend up to three practices a week — only two are required to be eligible for weekend swim meets.
Swimmers will be grouped by skill level, not age:

Team A (Novice): For newer swimmers still developing technique and endurance.
Weekend meets are optional, but a great way to build confidence and experience!
Monthly sign-up available. One flat fee covers the month’s practices. * no exceptions
